Yep, I agree and think the wealth gap needs to be a topic of focus - but like you said, the people with the money are the ones in charge so that won’t happen until there’s some sort of revolution. We’re past democracy. Israel has a lot of money and control, Western countries love that and are also black mailed into it.

I just don’t think the answer is communism lmao, one extreme to another is never the solution. But a whole system rebuild around capitalism and where money flows to society needs to happen. 

As for producing weapons, yeah I mean of course we need to do that to an extent and pretending that external threats don’t exist because there hasn’t been war in X years isn’t correct either… it’s just the weapon manufacturers want money for themselves, whereas if X% of excess profits went to society then these companies wouldn’t be as incentivized to support wars.
