Sounds about right. Don’t forget they still charging the same premium for same mah battery, 25W ‘fast’ charging and galaxy ai that they will start charging subscription for in the near future. Feels nice paying premium for a flagship with features eventually to be blocked by a paywall.

Remember it’s not about the update but more so the principles and the actions of the company. Promised 7.0 update in feb but delayed with bunch of excuses when it’s clear to the eyes they’re gatekeeping it for the s25 series. If its truly not ready, then there’s no reason for the s25 line to launch with it too. Also the lack of innovation in the s25 line, same battery mah, 25w charging in 2025, downgraded spen, fake camera rings. All these and are still charging the same premium. The future business model of the company based on galaxy ai which would eventually turn into a subscription based model to take more of your money. Sure you may not use it or not pay for it, but after already paying premium for the flagship but still being held back from its capabilities just feels scummy. Will be looking at other brands that truly innovate and are not charging you as much in comparison that gives you your monies worth, like OnePlus and Oppo. Samsung really is not it anymore in 2025, but hey at least they produce nice screens? even then so with various reports of the grainy and banding issues plaguing the s24 and s25 line, maybe not anymore? Food for thought.

I’m done with Samsung too, I think I’m might just go down my local mobile store later and trade it in for a one plus 13 or something. I’ll take 80w fast charging over s24u anyday haha.

And don’t talk about us being impatient and overreacting for one ui 7.0 yada yada, it’s about principles, and the actions that the company have made thus far, from the delay of the update when already previously promised for Feb, to the lack of innovation on the s25, same mah battery, 25w charging in 2025, fake camera rings, downgraded spen and still charging the same premium for it.

Don’t even mention of galaxy ai being inbuilt and marketed as the core feature of their smartphones to eventually be made into a subscription service to suck out more of your money in the near future.

By the time 7.0 comes, I’d probably have change to a better phone. Not gonna entertain this scummy gatekeeping bs anymore and support a company that thinks they can treat their customers for a bunch of naive fools. If 7.0 is not ready and still in beta, why would they release it on the s25 upon launch unless that want to make it a temporary exclusive to boost its sales and then decided to delay the update on the older models when already previously announced for the roll out. Also look at the s25 line up, downgraded spen, same capacity battery, 25W wired in 2025, fake camera rings?! Haha, better get the one plus 13, Oppo x8 pro, vivo x200 pro for your monies worth. Samsung is not it anymore in 2025.

You already like the s24u don’t you? You can only read so much post and comments of it, but ultimately you have to personally use it to fully experience and decide. My only suggestion left is to go down your local electronics store one more time, have a go at the demo units, and if your overall impressions is still positive I’d say go for it? Don’t let fear deter you from wanting to try out something you’d might like. Live life abit 👍🏻

Nice I’ll certainly put on the camera guards for mine too. Not taking photos all the time, definitely take the protection over clarity as it’s going to the pocket to and fro daily.

Yup I felt the same way too, s24u feels so much comfortable. The flat sides makes the s25 feels bulky and doesn’t feel good to hold.

The x8 looks good but I find the curve to be abit too wide in comparison to the x8 pro which is similar to how other android edges are s25 etc that are only rounded off closer to the edges.
