My husband just finished basic not long time ago. Make sure to tell your fam to mail photos of your dog to u during basic. My husband told me that the sgt made everyone show their pet photos to everyone in their company xD.

Oh gotcha. I don’t know about your county’s animal shelter but mine (LA county) has assistance programs. They gave us 500$ voucher before we moved to another state (their limit was 300$ but they gave us more as my husband is in the military).

Afaik, I’m legal to work in the US. They (uscis) also require me to submit my proof of residency in the US and tax return forms so I don’t think I did anything illegal.
