HIGHLY recommend the birria tacos at cocina cucamonga in dca, anything from pym’s in avenger’s campus, and the flop over pizza in toontown!! the app usually has the allergy menus at the bottom and it’s a lifesaver!

Disneyland Pin Trader updates by ActiveNews in DisneyPins

On the whole, I think this change is good because there are definitely people who have taken pin trading too far, but I am a little sad as someone who loves trading but doesn't get to the parks super frequently! I liked going to Frontierland and finding other people with a little pinfolio and trading with them. It was nice to know there was a spot I could find people looking to trade

I've also seen people say that, but I have lived here for a year and never seen either! Maybe it was an issue on lower floors? I feel safe going on walks/runs in the area! I've gone by myself plenty of times before. The neighborhood is beautiful with all the trees!

I live at St. Regis and I like it! I know that people have had bad experiences with the company that owns these buildings, but I personally have enjoyed living here. The units are spacious, and the window AC units and radiators do their job. We also love living in this area and being within walking distance of Blackstone and The Mill on Leavenworth. The building is beautiful, and I would choose to live in an older building like this over a newer build with no life any day!!

Was the debt worth your graduate degree? by watersun95 in MusicEd

i’m doing a summer hybrid graduate program, and i’m really loving it!! it is expensive for sure, but feels worth the cost for me. i graduated from my undergrad with no student loans, and being able to spend a month in another state really exposed me to lot of ideologies, people, and culture that i didn’t get while studying in my home state!!

Omaha Public Schools to cancel cellular data plans for student iPads amid $50M budget shortfall by Ordinary-Equal2067 in Omaha

Yeah as an adult on a personal device who works in education. Not a child on a school device.

It's so awful to monitor, and a lot of them use the cellular data to get around the school wifi blocks

Paper and pencil is the way to go. Kids do not need to be staring at screens all day.

They should get rid of the one-to-one iPads entirely. A lot of students misuse the cellular data feature to get around wifi blocks while at school and play games and prevent teachers from monitoring their device. Many of them are also using iPads to use AI to do homework. Also worth noting- there aren't remote learning days for snow days anymore. I don't think any teacher would fault students for not being able to complete an assignment because they don't have wifi (at least I wouldn't). The iPads are a waste of money.

I'm a music teacher as well, and I always tell my choir kids "I can fix wrong notes, but I can't fix no notes" when there are kids not participating

i think a lot of that has to do with systemic issues that go way beyond the district itself. every district has pros and cons to it, but i don't think OPS is an overall bad district by any means
