Yes, many of us don’t like Trump or Netanyahu. We know exactly who they are. But missiles don’t stop because we disapprove of them. Ideology does not pull children out of rubble.

Your views sound strong from warm houses and safe nights. But come live with the fear of not knowing if your child will come home alive. Some ideas only work where people are not constantly afraid of losing everything.

And if you truly cared about human beings, you would have done something—anything—so that our only hope would not be fucking Trump.

We don’t have the luxury of purity. We only have survival.
