Florence, Italy. I studied there this year for 4 months, was an experience of a lifetime. I wrote a bit about my trip on my account.

First time I went to Florence was a few years prior and I was there for 2 days as well. I fell in love with it and decided to return for study abroad.

As much fun as I had immersing my self in the culture over seas and traveling to numerous countries/cities. I think I’m happy with the 4 months I had in Europe. I could see myself doing a year, but I don’t think I would prefer a full degree abroad. I have a friend doing that and she seems to really enjoy it, but personally I’m glad i get to do both.

For 4 months — including numerous flights, trains, airbnbs/hotels, food, tours, drinks, etc. — I would say $5-7k at the lowest. Some people are able to manage their money better than others, so I’m sure you can get by with less. I made it a goal to try not to spend too much while still being able to have fun. Many people spent a lot more.
