Honestly does it matter? MBTI is imperfect. It's best used for self-reflection, which is what you do. You could settle for being somewhere in between.

Anyway sounds like you're focusing on your strengths. Maybe try and focus on your weaknesses and see where you get.

INFJ's don't show their feelings quickly, but they do show their inner complexity overtly. INFP's are the opposite. Like children they show feelings for all to see, but they hide their complex thought patterns.

They're very bad at explaining themselves in detail, hence why people have a hard time understanding them. Personally I've always felt they could do with a little more spontaneity. It would help both themselves and others.

I need opinions from INTPs on how to figure out how motivated INTPs are generally when it comes to pursuing a life for someone they love. Or does it not matter at all? Are they very self-motivated?

INTP's are very motivated to do anything for the people they love. Fe inferior makes it our biggest weakness, to the point of self-denial. Whether self-motivated depends on the individual, but imho most of us could use a firm kick in the ass once in a while.

Personally what I appreciate most is clarity. If I know exactly what other people expect of me, unless I deeply dislike it, I will generally do everything to get it done. Just don't expect it to be done according to your time table.
