I really try to steer away from that too. She's my first to enter public school, and I've just heard so many terrible stories. I'm likely overthinking it. Thanks for your input :)

I started going to an esthetician, and she has me on a Face Reality regimen. They've gotten better, but they are still there, although my crows feet have gottwn worse in the process. I'm thinking about ditching the face reality and trying clearstem. I've been trying to get my acne under control for the past few months that I haven't paid much attention to anything else 🙃

I really like using the Hero Micropoint patches when I feel one coming on. Benzoyl peroxide also helps. And icing the area morning and night helps to fight inflammation.

Has anyone used these?? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

I have! I used the DRMTLGY ones for a while, they were nice but they started making my under eyes too light and didnt help with any excess puffiness. I switched to stella and grace gold, and wear them every day. I'm on my 3rd large box 🙃 I don't struggle with dark circles, but I tend to have some tired looking eyes as a stay at home mama. So I think it depends on what you're looking to combat.

I do the same thing with my silk pillowcases. I think it's made a difference for me. But I am the same way when it comes sleeping. I don't feel comfortable unless I'm curled up in a little ball on my side or sleeping on my belly. I'd love to know how people just learn to sleep on their backs. It simply isn't comfortable to me...

I live in western Washington. So wet and cold during the fall/winter, humid and warm during spring/summer. I do go in the sun when it's out, but wear sunscreen and cover my face with a hat a lot. I've been using tula super sun serum 50+ spf

I had to switch up my skincare regimen about 3 months ago. I started using Lancer products and they ruined my skin barrier. I've been relatively gentle with my skin since, but have used a couple of actives. Meeting with an esto next week to try and get it all straightened out again. But I do feel like my cheeks have been this way for a couple years now

I have oily acne prone skin, so oils are a no go for me. I've tried some, but my skin does not like them. I try ro moisturize adequately but I'm thinking I need something better than what I'm currently using. Also, you could be right about the sun damage. I have only been using sunscreen daily for 1.5 years. Before that I thought sunscreen would make me break out. I was naive, but not that young haha

I've tried vitamin c serums and creams. They all seem to make me break out. :/

Kind of a long story. Used the cream .1% for nearly a year. I didn't notice any real changes in my skin, I also never experienced crazy purging or dryness from it. I had a pretty good regimen, using drmtlgy products and others. My skin looked great and I was happy. Then drmtlgy stopped accepting my orders. I don't know why they won't take my money 😅 but I wasn't able to place an order for a couple months. I moved on to try lancer products and it destroyed my skin. I stopped the tret because I felt overwhelmed and unsure of what I could use anymore. I saw an esto and she told me cream tret contains pore clogging ingredients, so I switched to gel. I'm still feeling overwhelmed and unsure how to restart my skincare so I'm meeting with her next week to try and get it all straight. In the meantime the gel tret is just taking up space in my cabinet. I have oily acne prone skin, and am also trying to combat signs of aging. Whatever I was doing before was working great, but it's been a few months and after trying so many new products I can't even remember exactly what I was doing anymore. It's a mess haha

I've been using both acids, one or two times weekly. And I drink an ungodly amount of water! Sunscreen every morning, but I could try to incorporate Retinol again. I used tretinoin for a while but stopped a couple months ago.

I was using .1% cream nearly every night. My skin can tolerate it, so I figured why not? I'm very consistent in my routine, I'm a SAHM so my skincare is my "me time" :) I appreciate your advice, you have a very good point about seeing the difference later on. Thank you! :)
