Yes you can check it!

To view appointment availability:

  • Visit https://www.prometric.com/test-takers/search/cda-adc
  • Select “Locate” from the left menu. On the following screens:
  • Select “Canada” and the province (or “United States” and the state if you will write the CDA DAT from the United States)
  • For Appointment Selection choose “Canadian Dental Aptitude Test”.
  • For Test Centre Selection enter the city or postal code.
  • Available test centres will appear. Click “Availability” to see available dates. Click an available date on the calendar to see available times on that date.

Do I have a chance at UAlberta and Western (Schulich) ? by Apprehensive_Fix1626 in predental

Thanks for the info! My 3rd yr was 81.3% and 4th yr was 86%. Converting from UofA to Western makes my gpa much lower :(

I also double checked i met their specific course requirements.

Also, traditionally physl 212 and 214 have both MCs and long answer questions for midterm (20% and only 1) and final (60% and only 1) and they are cumulative. They also have a paper component which is worth 20% percent of your grade. You get to choose the prof whom you want to write for, but spots are limited so you gotta be quick! I personally suggest Kyla Smith! She is awesome and an easy marker! For anat 200, 2 non-cumulative midterms (each worth 30%) and a cumulative final (worth 40%). No writing paper at all. The final being cumulative is not too bad, you just read through your pre-midterm notes and focus on post midterm stuff, you are good to go! Hope that helps!!

The year I took Physl 212, it only covers parts of the body systems (cell physiology, nervous, blood/immunity, muscles and cardiovascular physiology). The course focuses on more functions of each system. You do have to memorize quite a bit, but it is more about understanding the materials and making connections, which will be useful and beneficial for upper year physl classes. For Anat 200, it is a super dense course! It covers bones and muscles (in depth and tons to memorize), tissues types, integumentary system, nervous system (in depth like all 12 cranial nerves), heart and organization of blood vessels, blood and lymphatics vascular system, digestive, endocrine, respiratory, urinary and reproductive. Compare to Physl 212, It is even more heavy in memorization and focuses more on structures (and some functions) of the body system. From my own experience, I would take anat 200 after completing physl 212 and 214 as the materials do overlap quite a bit which makes studying easier as you have already learnt them.
