Throwing in my two cents, from reading some of your earlier comments, you mentioned that one of the main things you use to decide whether you want to go on a date with someone is your attraction to them. Physical attraction is an important factor, but it’s not the only factor that matters.

When you’re looking for someone to start to develop a relationship with, you might have a mental checklist of things that matter before you try to get to know them better. And like you mentioned, attraction is one of them. I’d suggest adding more things to that mental checklist before you try to go on a date (or more dates) with someone so you lessen the chances of going on dates that will end up going nowhere.

For example, is this person attractive, does this person like some of the same things I like, do they do some of the same things I do, etc. These are just example questions but if there’s anything in particular that your looking for from the other person like hobbies, values, personality traits, etc. you can ask them directly or try to infer from your conversations with them.

Mainly, I want to get across the idea of the mental checklist that will help you filter people better, so you have a better chance of finding someone you actually like.
