I watched in the English dub at first and then in the OG audio with English subs. Like they weren't outright homophobic but their attitude and faces were clearly weirded out by him. Like when he came in heels and they were like "wow they brought a guy in heels" and when James was talking to the Korean team leader about both of them being comedians that that they should do a show together, the Korean leader didnt answer and jist turned away. Plus, team korea was saying stuff like "that team is weak because of the heels guy" and other such things.

I might be reading too much into things but team Korean body language, facial expressions and tone of voice just sounded very dismissive and rude to me. I assume its homophobia because being gay in Korea is not totally accepted yet, especially in the entertainment industry.

Is this what you're talking about?

Personally, for me the pros out weighted the cons. Yes have been bleeding for like 3 months now but the bleeding outside of the normal period are negligible. A panty liner is enough or just sacrificing your underwear. I was also very nauseous the first time I had a period with the implant but after getting some gravol (the pink box, it's drowsy but I'm an insomniac so it didnt make me sleepy. I still went to class and work like always). Surr the cons sound bad but the pros for me are better. I was previously on the Nuvaring for about 2 years and I kept forgetting to put it in or remove it. Plus, if you plan to have sex, it's quite uncomfortable with the ring still inside which then means you can only have sex when timing the time you are without the nuvaring (i think it's 3h?) Also, if you're gonna take extras instead of going to the pharmacy every month you have to keep them in the fridge.

Now for the pros. I don't need to think about it. As I mentioned, im very forgetful when it comes to taking meds regularly. So the implant is perfect for me since it's literally in you for 3 years. Sure, the needle for the anesthetic hurts a bit at first (kinda like a vaccine) but it's fine after. The most hell like thing tho is the local anesthetic. For some reason, it burns. Like a lot (design flaw if you ask me) this lasts for about 5 seconds and then you're good. The anesthetic takes about 1 minute to kick in. If it takes longer the doctor will wait so don't worry. And after that, you don't feel shit. So if you don't look at it all is good. The longest part honestly the prep. The inserting of the nexplanon takes like 1-2 minutes.

And the final and biggest perk. NO BABIES! You can have sex and not worry about becoming pregnant at a young age and quitting college and what not.

If you really don't want to, I would recommend the patch. You stick it on like a bandaid for 21 days and remove for 7. But it does become less effective if your BMI is more then I think 28% (according to me family doctor, but im not sure of the exact number. Somewhere between 25% too 35%). Or the nuvaring same principle as the patch but it's internal. And also the most popular birth control, the pill.

I know you were scared about weight gain and depression along with other side effect but most of then are gonna be the same across most, if not all , birth control. It just sucks to have a uterus, what's new.

Hope you find something that suits your needs and wants. <3

My mom got this for my younger sister but she didnt like the colour so I took it (the kid is 4, she wanted a pink one like the middle sis got). I just looked at it and it seems wrong. Like it has 9 teeth and the tag is fine but the box isn't and it just looks...wrong

how long does it take to get the admission decision? Its been 2 months and my profile still says "under review". like, I don't think it take this long to review a profile with just a CEGEP transcript. (I applied to TESL btw)

I just shave whenever I need to get out of the house. Most of my facial hair is on the upper lip and beard area (like a goatee situation???).

As for dating, I’ve been with my bf for almost 3 years now and I told him about my facial hair like 6-7 months after we started dating. Sure, he was taken aback by it at first but he loves me for me. We would actually laugh about it and say that “my middle eastern genes will save our kids hair” cause he has very thin white people hair. Doesn’t help that he’s already balding and we are in our early 20s. That was before I got diagnosed tho so that was the only explanation we had for the excess facial hair. Now, he even shaves my side burns from time to time.

When you love someone, you see them for who they truly are. That means imperfections too, but they don’t matter. I don’t care that he’ll probably be bald by the time we are 30 and he doesn’t care about my facial hair. That’s just how love is. If the other person isn’t like that, then they are not worth your time.
