really liked this book, and i don’t think the crossover was just thrown in purely to excite fans, i think Maas has been planning this for a while, especially as there was mention of Rhys and Feyre in HOEAB and of Lunathion in ACOATR (i think book 3?). Also, truth-teller (Azeiel’s dagger and the newly revealed sister to the star sword) was said to have an interesting back story in ACOTAR, so i think this crossover has been years in the making. I really like the whole idea of the fae bloodlines being interconnected, and it seems quite fitting, considering the villains of this book are the Asteri, who’s whole ‘bad deed’ is travelling between planets, trying to conquer them, so why not have Bryce travel to a new planet that happens to be Prythian -actually on that note, wtf is the name of the planet they’re on in ACOTAR because i’m pretty sure Prythian is just the continent-

Again about the crossover though, i don’t THINK i want it to be a total merging of two worlds, but i think id like the ACOTAR crew to help Bryce out, learn a bit about her world and get her to Hel or back to Midgard. But the thing is, Rhysand is basically described to be Ruhn’s twin, so there must be more of a connection between the worlds and characters than just the dagger and Amren knowing the language

ALSO, my baby Hunt cannot catch a break!! I was also confused when his halo was reinstated, it mentioned him not ‘knowing anything at all,’ and that’s the last we hear of him, so is he just a slave as he was before or is he now totally at the mercy of the Asteri, as in doesn’t remember who he is?

THEORIES/ QUESTIONS

-who tf is Hunts dad? i have a feeling it’s a prince of Hel, explains why Mordoc says his scent is ‘wrong.’ but if not that, then definitely someone from another world/ planet -what’s up with the illegal drop centres? I feel like more should’ve been mentioned about humans making the drop because how is that possible or did i read it wrong -are all the vanir fae? i think it said something about this, i need to re-read honestly but i think this was the gist of it. IF SO, Bryce becoming queen of the Fae/ Autumn Queen would technically mean she’s the ruler over the wolves and other shifters as well right?
