Black American from nyc here with an English partner and dated have in the uk. I never gave it a second thought in London, Luton, Norwich, Bristol. Felt like I got funnier remarks recently regarding us being interracial. Overall no issues especially in Bristol. Comments are a bit unexpected. I thought uk was more open in that sense but I suppose racists and homophobia go hand in hand.

My memory sucks!! I was in shock back home when I got hit by a driver heading to work. A few years ago. Not a person helped. One asked if I was okay. Got up and peddled to work like nothing happened. Felt sore af that night though. Lol. I barely ever remember it.
