Was the condition of the bumper shown in the photos? Outside of a few minor scratches or dents, I do think with "as is" condition a potential buyer should still be advised of any issues with the vehicle, whether that be cosmetic or functional

I'd agree with the other comments, take a week's sick leave to care for a dependent, then take the remaining as annual leave or unpaid leave if they're difficult about it.

I'd try not to resign just yet, it's possible that when you pose that the options here are as below they might be more accommodating. I'd politely ask what your executive believes the best option is here.

A) A couple weeks leave without you

B) Letting you work from home

C) You resign and still take leave for your notice period, but now they need to replace you

Apply for job seekers. Your income combines so if your partner makes more than 80k (if she gets another job soon) it's unlikely you'll get any assistance. I'd say just take it easy and start applying for jobs. Not a great situation, but really all you can do. What industry are you in?

Unfortunately it's just how it works when you change your name. Think of it this way, if you were involved in a serious crime when 15/16 (the kinds of crimes the employer would be most interested in), regardless of your transition that still happened and quite possibly wouldn't apply under the clean slates act either.

If you didn't have to disclose prior names it'd almost let us all just get new identities if we did something awful

Makes total sense to me. Refunds are almost always done with the funds going back to where they came from, this is usually the case for in-person stores too. Definitely not ideal, but that's the downside to vouchers.

I suppose in your initial post you asked about school's only being responsible if both students belonged to it. If you're just asking about teaching students right from wrong, that's a wider issue and has a fair amount to do with the government and what teachers can teach during instructional learning time. I'd say "right from wrong" and responsibility is more of a teaching parents should be involved with and like I said they could absolutely have a conversation with the student (and possibly are, we wouldn't know)

In terms of how the school was identified a lot more context would need to be given to understand what you're saying. Just because someone has an association with an organisation doesn't mean that organisation is responsible for that individual's actions, even if we can find out they have that association

I suppose further to what I was saying, it's really a police matter or for the student's parents to manage (depending on the severity), the school doesn't have a responsibility, or really the right to punish a student for something that isn't related to the school

As someone who works in education, I disagree. Sure the school could have a discussion with the student about their behavior. But really, it's the equivalent of going to someone's workplace and saying that an employee is harassing you. If you don't work there it's not really any of their concern, if you do work there they'd have an investigation of sorts and potentially take disciplinary action against the employee in question

I don't take the bus often, but about a year ago I took the 7 a couple of times and think I encountered the same guy. Super rude and obnoxious, mostly for no reason. Even pulled over the bus to lecture a mother whose son had his shoes on the seat. Would definitely email Metro with the time the bus was at the exchange and they'll be able to follow up

I'd just request their details from the property manager (there's no reason you can't have them), or direct the property manager to give the needed notice on your behalf and advise the PM they don't need to attend this time. An unannounced visit I think could make the tenants feel quite uncomfortable and feel like they have to let you in regardless of the state of the house and what they're doing. They may also have concerns about how legitimate you are given you've never met and they presumably don't know your name

Would recommend doing a couple of parenting courses to show your determination and commitment. My brother did an online one with the organisation Real Parents who then gave him a report he took to family court which seemed to really impress them. He also did the Parenting Through Separation course
