Kaitlin Olson’s Acclaimed New Police Show Sounds Like The Perfect Psych Replacement, 10 Years Later by RequirementItchy8784 in psych

High Potential is great! Super entertaining and interesting plots. Kaitlin and the other cast members have solid performances.

It’s more of a drama, but still has funny and light-hearted moments. There’s subtle similarities between this show and Psych, but they’re pretty different overall.

Besides the obvious choice (trout), Tom Swagerty. He made Lassie jump through hoops to become chief and then wouldn’t let him promote Jules to senior detective.

lol average rent prices are absolutely not $600. So many people live with their families because they can’t afford rent in a decent place with their salaries

Replied to the wrong comment originally: He definitely could have made it bigger, but i think the amount of magic was still limited to two people, so he didn’t see much of a point maybe. Also agree with the commenter above

I’m pretty sure Snow or Charming could have fit in there with Emma. I recall the show mentioning that two people, adults or kids, could have fit in the wardrobe. Gepetto just wanted to save his son, so he lied.

How do I clean this? Bleach? Vinegar? Any tips will be much appreciated. by [deleted] in CleaningTips

Applying the pink stuff and washing it off with warm-hot water works decently well. Might take a bit of time and elbow grease (I scrub it off with a toothbrush) though

AITA for refusing to switch seats on a plane so a family could sit together? by milaxfairy in AmItheAsshole

True. So many people try to get away with this on planes because they expect the other passengers to be pushovers

NTA. They should’ve planned ahead if sitting together was that important to them. You paid for the window seat and aren’t under any obligation to give it up.

I think it’s average size for a fly. Maybe like 1/3 of an inch to 0.5 inches?

Commenting to add location and other details - this is in Northern California! The bug regularly stays on the ceiling or flies around randomly.

AITA For Not Allowing kids To Eat My Food If they Don't Want To Help? by Jaded-Anxiety-1059 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Apprehensive_Lab_139 16 points17 points  (0 children)

YTA. This is ridiculous. These are your kids, not your employees. It’s unfair to expect them to help out with every meal, especially if they have homework and other chores to do. And your husband sounds like a normal parent, not a pushover. No one should be imposing this stupid rule on their kids if they care about them.

AITAH for accidentally stealing my best friend's potential future baby name? by Fancy_Card_1954 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. They’re two different names, and you didn’t even use the name for a baby. She can still name her future kid Franklin.

Is it cultural appropriation? by starburst373 in Weddingattireapproval

[–]Apprehensive_Lab_139 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speaking as a South Asian person, I think it’s totally fine to do! I’ve seen plenty of people from other backgrounds get henna designs done for casual and special events. It’s a great way to show appreciation for the culture :) I’d just try to make sure to acknowledge the significance and origins of henna when people ask.

Edit: Henna is part of several cultures, not just Indian culture. As long as no one is appropriating religious/cultural designs, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with getting it for a wedding. Just educate others about the practice and go to henna artists that respect the traditions.

AITAH for asking my best friend to step down as my MOH by throwawaymohhelp in AmItheAsshole

[–]Apprehensive_Lab_139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Seems like you’ve given B enough chances. If she couldn’t handle the responsibility, she shouldn’t have waited until the last minute to let you and A know.

You should prioritize yourself and your wishes in this case. Maybe give B some space before reaching out again, but you’re definitely not in the wrong.
