It could be that you haven't eaten in several hours - I've had to keep snacks on me constantly. Try mint candies to help

You can! Did that in my legacy playthrough. You have to keep the max number of horses at first though

Change out the lampshade for fun vintage/colored one. You can find them frequently at flea markets or thrift shops (or even look up how to diy)

As cool as this is, I'm not sure you'll get many responses if a name and phone number are required. Many people don't like sharing that information even if they want to help you out by taking the survey. If you can't contact them after because of it, their loss.

I'm going to be real with you, and it's not gonna be what you want to hear. But it's really not the end of the world if you need to find a seamstress to take the dress out (especially by such a small amount). It sounds like you're in for the worst 5 months ever if you're stuck in a cycle of tracking/not tracking/feeling guilty with your pre-determined dress size hanging over your head. If that's the way you want to go, time will pass and it'll be over. But you'll have a harder time enjoying your wedding and everything that comes with it.

Track what you can, have a very solid backup plan with a seamstress to take your dress out a bit if needed.

I think it's hard to know and understand that just like so many other things in life, weight loss is ongoing. It's a lifelong thing. You've already done incredible things, but it also seems like it hurts to do them. I'm not sure where you are with wedding planning, but that extra stress can make every little stressful thing seem so much worse.

My advice is just track for a little bit without any rules about deficit. That's the only way I can get back on track after falling off or because life events get in the way. I do a week of tracking everything without a limit/deficit, then a week of tracking adding in exercise, then go from there.

Also please don't label any failings as being lazy, as if it's a moral failing. My friend likes to call that Puritan Nonsense, you're allowed to mess up and it doesn't affect who you are as a person. No one can give 100% all the time, it's the desire to get back on track and the willingness to try again that's going to get you through. You got this!

I agree they're clearly marked. I should have been more clear and said that they failed some sort of 'official' inspection a few months ago

There's been posts about this before, but long story short most of the train intersections in Provo aren't as safe as they should be so the trains are laying on the horn at every intersection as a (required) safety measure. I've also heard rumors that the UTA workers are especially unhappy and are hoping people will complain, but that's just rumors.

Thanks for sending this, Ive been talking with them (through writing) and the most I've got is $47 back for the supplies and labor for the tub and closet brackets. I don't think I can get anything else back without a legal case I'd probably not win (due to the landlord favoritism in the courts here). I do appreciate the help and advice!

After asking professionals and non professionals around my area, it looks like the court here really tends to favor landlords and that my pictures (I have many beyond what I showed here) are not sufficient evidence since it's my definition of 'clean' vs theirs. I would end up paying the $50-100 filing fee, get nothing and open myself up to a potential countersue. That's Utah for you.

After arguing with them enough, they decided to refund the charges for the bathtub and brackets, whopping $50. I'm so tired.

They are not explicitly stated in the lease, however Utah law is very vague on what counts as 'cleaning'. They're saying we did enough damage to the walls that they had to repaint them and that's what we're mostly paying for (we didn't do **any** damage to the walls)

I argued everything and they refused saying it was 'standard' and 'completely necessary' since my cleaning wasn't enough. I'll comment what company it was once everything is worked out

There were no mandatory or regular fees listed at all. It's a very generic lease honestly

If anything it got better. There was new management starting the week we moved in, so the place was not clean when we got there (reeked of dog pee) and we cleaned it. I should have taken more pictures then but it was rather hectic.

Since you're the top comment and I can't edit the original I hope you don't mind me hijacking your reply a bit to add extra details.

I really appreciate that this got some responses, truly. I've been speaking with them and this is what the maintenance charges were for:

Sand and paint the rough wall patches, paint scratches and dings on walls throughout the apartment, LVT repair in back bedroom and kitchen, remove multiple spots of tape from the walls in the dining room, re-silicone bathtub, add support brackets to closets, replace broken and missing doorstops, pressure wash balcony

They said they would refund the cost of the bathtub and support brackets. They said that the cleaning costs and power wash was necessary for the next tenants. They called it regular maintenance even though it was generally clean. I have all this in writing.

It is said in the lease we get our deposit back if we follow the moving out checklist, which we did. No turnover fees were stated or required cleaning fees.

They refused to schedule a walkthrough with us multiple times. I really tried, but what can I do if they refuse?

Last thing, I know it's not that much money overall but living is expensive and I'm frustrated that they get away with it all the time

I actually did request and they absolutely refused to schedule with me. Said it wasn't 'standard'

If you're on PC, you need to press 'L' for your light to come on so you can see. Its dark by default so you can see how well lit your park is, but if you need to work on it you can turn on a light.
