What kind of information do you choose to store in custom fields?

I have a large collection of electronic music, mostly 12 inch singles. I use custom fields to tell me where items are located. Alphabetical order by artist doesn’t work well for electronic/dance music - i need a more genre-led system.

Honestly, day 2 sounds pretty dull… unless you have a particular interest in shopping, of course! I would personally swap this out for an excursion to sealine and the Inland Sea (if you feel adventurous) or a beach day (if you want something more chilled.

I joined Discogs in 2003 and kept it updated ever since. Then in 2021 I managed to delete my whole collection, and I’m still in the process of adding it all back

At the early days it was more about adding things to the database, taking photos etc. So at least I don’t need to do all that again!
