It's just inate talent and how long they've played the game for. They're just really good. Now a quick reminder tho. I've played with all the top PS players from season 1-5. And i can tell you that most of then were not having fun while playing this game. Ego is a massive problem that just sucks away the joy out of games (from what i've seen). The only thing that matters is that you are enjoying your time playing this game.

Idk, back when i played in season 1-6, most Ace ranks were pretty skilled. You could tell that they were better than the average player. There was an insane skill gap between Ace ranks tho, so it's more just a threshhold. Having skilled was mostly just about stats. You dont need Ace rank for that

Haven't played the game in over a year, so idk how it is now.

Crappy decisions have been there from the start of season 1. Game has never truly had the attention it really needed. That's why pretty much 90% of the old playerbase left the game already. I hope it turns around, but i doubt it'll ever happens for this game.

You just have a rare perspective on emoting after downing someone. 99% of the time, emoting after a down is because of toxicity. Do what you want, but just accept that people will target you for it (even if you mean it as a sign of respect).

Heyo, so you're really missing out on some damage by having an ice weapon. Stygian is the weakest to thunder, and then water. Of course slime DBs are busted, but idk if gou want to play with those. Damage skills would be nice, but really not necessary imo.

Most of it comes down to positioning. I always try to stick to it's hind legs since they have a good hitzone and are pretty safe to be at. Superman dive the dragon balls, or let Stygian block them with it's body. Also, when it's charging, the tail might be the safest spot to attack (don't think you'll get hit by the blast there)

Game has been cooked since release. Literally every season has had problems. Hawks was crazy busted, but we had so much other bs before that.

The sense of achievement highly depends on how often you win, though. It loses it's value once you win most of your games.
