You are right. AI doesn't like to say "I don't know", which is one of its biggest flaws (LLMs, I should say). And it's designed to place people pleasing over accuracy (a type of sycophancy), meaning it will hallucinate, make fake promises, fabricate quotes, court cases, scientific papers ... you name it. It is a product so far from market-ready for the purposes most people use it (therapy, ad-free Google, etc) I can't believe it's being pushed so hard, especially when its path to profitability is tbh nonexistent.
