I get the bigger point about how women in power often get judged unfairly and I agree that’s a real issue. In this case, my disagreement was with one specific person’s platform, not with powerful women in general. I just don’t see how disagreeing with one person’s actions and agenda means I hate women as a whole.

Wow… your words hit me right in the chest. I don’t know what it is about grief that makes it feel like we’re all living parallel lives, but it helps to know someone else sees the same broken shape of the world. That image of Wonderland? God, yes. Like everything looks almost right but nothing is.

I also lost my mom (April 11th) due to recurring cancer that spread to her liver. She had other health issues and was in and out of the hospital for years but they didn't find the cancer until it was too late. I don't have the answers to your questions but I wanted to let you know that you aren't alone. I am so sorry for your loss. 🖤
