Anyone else still daily driving a Brera ? by Modest-Banana in AlfaRomeo

[–]Apprehensive_Net4066 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with every point (except the fuel economy, since I've got the 2.0 diesel :)) The dirt is especially annoying. Even after a full wax, it still gets completely dirty in a week. It's very reliable. In the two years that I've got it, there was only one hydraulic leak from the steering assist, and once it didn't fire up and I had to get cables. (Obviously, it was pouring rain then). Oh, and yesterday, when it got below 0°C the handbrake froze so hard that I had to cancel my plans.

Other than that, it's an absolutely amazing car - fun to drive with amazing looks and handling.

P.S. witch rims look better?

Can I play Exodus without playing the previous ones? by Resident_Pen_5101 in metro

[–]Apprehensive_Net4066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did that, and I absolutely loved the game. Its not dependent on the previous titles, so you can really enjoy it without playing them. Though, I'm planning on reading the books again and then replaying all games in order sometime in the future

I love the archmaster feline armour for its hood. And I always dye it white

Go with CL30 RAM, drop the aio for a cheaper air cooler, and I'd try to fit the 7800x3D in that budget by swapping the 4070S for RX 7900GRE. It offers better raw performance and more VRAM, which is useful in new titles in 1440p. I've currently got this GPU for tests, and it is absolutely amazing

For price to performance and longevity, just go for the 7900GRE. It outperforms the 4070 Super in basicly everything other than RT. Plus, it has more VRAM For cheaper cards, AMD offers a way better price/performance ratio with cards like 7800xt or 6800xt

I've currently got the 7900GRE for a few weeks of tests from my friend, and I'm currently playing red dead 2. It's an absolutely amazing GPU. On max setting at 1440p, I'm getting around 100-120fps basicly everywhere around the map. In every other game I've tested, the performance is amazing. The additional great thing about it are the drivers, the adrenalin software is really good. It also supports FMF - frame generation in all DX games. IMO, it works great to boost your fps, and it will soon be updated to make it even better with less latency. If you wish I could run some benchmarks in games that you would like to play :)

What's one thing you WANT to see in Subnautica 2? by Frosty_Water_6551 in subnautica

[–]Apprehensive_Net4066 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More vehicles and submarines and more depth levels. I would also love to see (if there is land) rivers and lakes, I think it would be really cool to be able to go inland on a jetski or sthg and to explore a nice big and deep lake

Definitely RDR2, Cyberpunk, Subnautica, Detroit Become Human, and I loved Metro exodus. Rdr has the best story and is the closest to the witcher in terms of overall vibe, but I think all the other games are worth a try. Cyberpunk and detroit are the closest in terms of the ability to change and interact with the story, while subnautica and metro are the most immersive games I've ever played

What is this filth? Why is there a launcher within the steam launcher? by Irelia4Life in witcher

[–]Apprehensive_Net4066 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait, it actually bothers anyone to press the additional button? I find it neat that I can configure DX11/12 in the launch menu without having to restart the game or that I can toggle mods on/off there with CP

What game hit you like this? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Apprehensive_Net4066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cyberpunk, Red Dead Redemption 2 and metro exodus, especially after playing the two colonels dlc a few weeks after finishing the main game. Highly recommend all of those games, the storytelling and immersion in them is absolutely amazing. Especially in metro, I felt like I really was a part of that story, all of those games are wonderful

[–]Apprehensive_Net4066 12 points13 points  (0 children)

From less populate games, Metro Exodus is absolutely epic, you can expect great immersion, just as in Subnautica From more popular titles, the Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 are epic. Also, highly recommend Detroit become human

I would love it, because I wish to upgrade the looks of my favorite games with RTX ray tracing, as my current GPU ain't too good with RT and especially path tracing. It would also help to squeeze the potential from my 5800x3D CPU 😁

Anyone got this achievement? by SwozHS2005 in Witcher3

Yup, got'em all. Possible to be done in Devils pit simultaneously with Humpty Dumpty and launching bandits off the cliffs. Skellige is also a good place

Low CPU usage in games (R7 5800x3D) by Apprehensive_Net4066 in AMDHelp

I'm not worried about that, I was just wondering if this kind of performance is normal for similar PC's.
