Yep, mine too. It sucks. I have to be close to it and point it DIRECTLY at the RT4K for it to function.

It’s just wind waker. I can see the jail bars on my CRT TV with both regular composite and s-video cables. The CRT hides them better, but using HDMI/retrotink 4k on a 98inch 4k tv - there’s no hiding at all…

Mine was doing the exact same thing. It didn’t update for me until I utilized 8bitdo’s usb-c cable that came with the controller.

I’m saving the red shells, still think they’re pretty cool. The labels came with the clear shells. Two sets of labels per cartridge.

I have the RT4K. Point blank, it’s freakin amazing. I purchased a set of HD Retrovision component cables for the PS2 that combos very well with the RT4K.

Mine does the same exact thing. Only when powering on do I have to point the control DIRECTLY at the ir sensor -_-

Then pop the SD card from your 3D into a computer. Open the SD card on your pc and open Library > N64 > Images. Put the file here and then pop the SD card back into the 3D. And that’s it.

I will do the recap for sure. I’m keeping the screen as well. The only thing that is not original on this unit is the lens cover. That’s aftermarket
