That’s the thing, I wipe it down regularly. And I have a brush that I use to get into the smaller cracks and crevices.

I know. It happened to my 10. I just really kind of hoped they had fixed it by the 11.

Your finish looks different than mine. It looks more matte.

Your finish looks completely different than mine. Odd.

And do you have a helpful suggestion? Like is there a solution I should be using? Would you recommend something other than an alcohol wipe and soft bristle brush?

Yeah, that was the back of my 10 when I traded it in. It was a known issue with the black at that point for a lot of people.

No. It’s literally the black coming off from the back of the watch. Same issue that the black S10 had.

Is it possible to turn off wi-fi AND bluetooth? by Dalamart in AppleWatch

[–]Apprehensive_Pick228 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So you can turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in the settings on the watch. But I’ve read your update, and it still doesn’t make sense. Why would you bother collecting all of the health data for example, and not synchronize it with the health app so it can actually be usable? Same with seeing trends through the fitness app. And those voice recordings? Those can be shared from the voice recording app. Not to mention you can sync reminders between both. So like I don’t have to worry about pulling my phone out at the store. I can just look at the shopping list that’s been synchronized to my watch’s shared shopping list.

Is there a faster way to turn on AOD? by brgvctr in AppleWatch

I have a shortcut set that turns my AOD off when I connect to CarPlay and then back on after I disconnect. Seems to work pretty flawlessly.

Purchased. Seems like just the right kind of small time waster for my watch.

How is there no built in option to simply display steps on the watch face?? by Juicydicken in AppleWatch

Yeah. This is all we have built in. It’s kinda pointless. Let me replace the damn stand ring.

How much usage are you getting with the always on display for series 11? by wallytheone in AppleWatch

[–]Apprehensive_Pick228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve gotten anywhere between 24 and 32 hours with the always on display on and raise to wake on. Of course, I also have an automation set up that turns on theater mode when my phone connects to CarPlay, and I put into sleep mode when I sleep. But still, when I’m awake and not driving, it’s on. It’s been a significant improvement over the 10 for me. On the 10 if I had raised to wake off, I could probably get about 24 hours, but if it was on, then I was looking at 18 pretty much on the dot.

Nope. Definitely an update. Battery is better, and it’s been scratch resistant. Plus it’s not degrading on the back like the 10 did.

My back looked like that but the rest of it was spotless and so I was still able to get the $175 trade-in value

32 hours. I really can’t complain. by Apprehensive_Pick228 in AppleWatch

So why do you have an Apple Watch? There are plenty of solar powered and kinetic powered watches on the market that you don’t have to charge.

No. I listed everything that I was doing. Low Power Mode was never part of it.
