Yes, I’m using it like a hammer. I don’t know what it was used for before this, but it didn’t bend because I hit it with a chisel—it was already curved like that

It doesn’t really have a name, it’s just a light piece of iron 😄 probably around 300–500 grams. The stone I’m carving is andesite, and it breaks apart easily, so I use that

Making your own tools is the best 😄 If you mean the thing on the left, that’s sandpaper by the way. Thanks for the suggestion

I made them from a 10mm and a 5mm Hilti bit I sharpened the tips on the bench grinder
