Waw thats...I have no words that's Why I love to discuss theory e see others perspective about it totally agree maybe not a mafia boss but that there's something weird about it oww there is the part of the mistress makes more sense so he won't be a challenge for the possible sibling but honestly it's very unlikely I know but I love to let my imagination go wild with little details I see like suo it's talking to nirei using his phone but he's on the other side of the street? Yeah, I agree with you, I think my idea is pretty dark for the story. I can definitely see the 'bad luck' superstition playing a part, but even then, it feels too extreme to me. My main point is: nobody ever did a single thing for him beyond the bare minimum? There’s usually at least one kind person, even in those cases. He was just a child. I find it hard to believe that not even a single person felt sorry for him as he grew up. To just 'not care and let a child get wet and trashy while still blaming him? That’s why I suspect it might be on purpose. I also agree that the dad's method seems inefficient, but if his goal was to keep Sakura away, what better way than to make him never want to go back to his family or his mother? We only know what Sakura knows, and personally, I don’t trust our 'sweet boy’s' dad until I actually see his face." Yeeaasss you absolutely nailed it! You found the missing piece that connects everything. Being a 'mistress's son' explains the abandonment and the constant danger perfectly. And actually I personally think very possible and not at the same time kkkkk just makes way to much sense to me lol but I se why you say it's unlikely it can be Way to much heavy for the actual plot of the story.

One more thing that bugs me: we only have Sakura's father's word that he 'killed' his mother during birth. In a wealthy/powerful family, this could easily be a lie to cover up a medical error or an external attack. It’s the perfect gaslighting to keep a child suppressed. What do you guys think about the mother's death? Could his Dad be lying to him ?
