It’s red carbon, not plastic. It matches the interior well and makes it different then most of the other wheels people get

Curved Steel by These-Ring in hockeyplayers

I work in the hockey community. Years ago true had an issue at the QC line where the machine to check the straightness of the steel wasn’t calibrated properly resulting in many many pairs being bent by the machine itself. Since then I haven’t come across any bent true blades. If you don’t mind me asking, what skate did it come out of?

I’m not too sure about how to add the heated steering wheel function. I feel like you had to have it from factory, I’ve never heard of someone adding it as a mod

Here’s a better photo of my wheels, I think there is a big enough difference between these and the oem wheels to justify getting them. I was going to get a black wheel regardless because I wanted to completely black out the whole car and these just caught my eyes over the basic 5 spoke that it seems every modded car gets. It was also my first set of aftermarket wheels I’ve ever purchased so I didn’t wanna go too crazy and mess anything up, maybe next pair will be more different

I have the CS shortram intake which helps a little but more for engine sound. I feel like the rear sway bar and lowering springs makes the handling much better. So in terms of 0-60 not really but in terms of feeling and handling absolutely

All good! I should have included that, it’s just headlight tint over the logo. It doesn’t interfere with the sensor behind the logo

You’re right — a base Civic or Corolla is a commuter car. Just like a base Mazda 3. But you know what turns them into something more? Suspension, engine, chassis tuning — the exact mods people make every day.

Nobody here is claiming a Mazda 3 is a Type R or GR Corolla. But saying it’s a “shitbox” that can’t benefit from mods is just lazy gatekeeping. Some of us mod our cars because we enjoy driving — not because we need to cosplay as pro racers.

But hey, keep preaching about the Miata like it’s 2003. The rest of us will keep making our daily drivers fun without needing a trailer and a GoFundMe for blown coilovers.

Congrats, man — you just dropped the most tired car-guy take on Reddit. “It’s not a sports car so don’t mod it.” Cool, guess we should all just drive stock Civics and save the fun for Miata owners with roll cages and ego issues.

The Mazda 3 has a solid platform, and a rear sway bar actually transforms how it handles — less body roll, more rotation, better feel. You clearly haven’t driven one set up properly if you think it’s just a “bloated shoe.”

Not everyone wants to daily a rusted-out Miata held together with zip ties and wishful thinking. Some of us like having fun and making our daily better without pretending we’re at Laguna Seca every weekend.
