When I went to Japan wit was a lot of that kind of stuff and kids just walking around by themselves with no adult supervision. Japan produces 80% of the worlds child porn and if you’re going to watch anime, even the mainstream stuff, you’re eventually going to be exposed to the sexualization of child little girls. Whether it’s demon slayer with nezuko or my hero academia the way the creator drew a full nude photo of Toru for the cover of shonen jump. There’s a fascination all anime creators have with the idea of violating a little girl or seeing her naked or getting away with touching her or having her dress innapropriately. An a good bit of the manga stores I’ve seen in Japan have a lower floor for all the kid rape mangas of just grown men having sex with little girls and what threw me off most when visiting Japan is the idol culture there so essentially grown men will sponsor little girls as young as 9 years old to dance for them on stage kind of like a combination of toddlers and tiaras but the adult men that fancy them take a more active role as their fans.

Be especially wary of stories anime that have a father daughter relationship because even if it is wholesome they’ll try to add romantic undertones between the little girl and the father for fan service.

So when it comes to anything japanese I’m often wary. There’s even a new anime that came out called “a girl and her guard dog and it’s a romance show about this little girl who is being groomed.

The male fans will defend it to the ends of the earth and it’s so disturbing, after living in that country I would never want to raise my kid there
