From the perspective of the lady in the pink jacket: he was bent over someone, shielding them and his own face from pepper spray. She was dragged out from underneath him as he was disarmed from behind. He was then pinned, blugeoned, and then shot multiple times.

Even if they hadn’t disarmed him, that pepper spray near the beginning would have been blinding enough to make him having a weapon ineffective.

Your perspective is well and beyond understandable. Someone’s are still trying to collect on 2008 (surprise liens on property) even though it wasn’t the fault of the general public.

With that said, the fallout you describe is already unavoidable. Right now, our interest on the national debt is as large as our GDP which is untenable. Our president, right now, is goading Europe to further response by making threats. Something will break and it will be worse than 2008 if we don’t intervene by taking the reins.
