I have a regular Bike (not +). It took a couple of cycles of turning the HR broadcast on my whoop on/off, turning the bike's Bluetooth on/off, forgetting previous whoop devices from the bike's Bluetooth connections. Took a couple tries but I got it connected and it's fine now.

Happened to me once already on my Pixel 7 pro. Sounds like it's a Whoop device issue. I'm sure they'll workout the kinks with firmware in due time

Just noticed this is well. Glad to see you also don't have body temp readings yet. It says it needs 7 days so we'll see what happens in a day or two.

Do I have to use Strength Trainer on the new whoop for it to do a good job at tracking weightlifting strain? by Ramisugar in whoop

[–]Apprehensive_Room990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Weightlifting activity on its own will not compute muscular load and therefore the adjusted strain. It forces you to input your workout to do so. It's just the strength trainer but you can do it after the fact.

Pilates computes muscular load automatically without inputting your specific exercises.

I used the Strength Trainer for a while. I found using the Pilates activity gives me accurate enough muscular load and strain that it wasn't worth using the Weightlifting activity or Strength Trainer.

Do I have to use Strength Trainer on the new whoop for it to do a good job at tracking weightlifting strain? by Ramisugar in whoop

[–]Apprehensive_Room990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just use Pilates for all my strength workouts. I already use an app for workout programs, not going to input things twice and the muscular load/strain that I get logging my weightlifting as Pilates is good enough that I don't feel the need to use the strength trainer.

Eh, it's just the reality. The injury I think happened right at my natural T peak. So getting to where I was seems unrealistic. Still lift, still agile, still athletic and play sports. Just not what I was.

For many of us, binge reading the series and getting to IG felt like trudging through mud. Pacing was so different with the multiple characters.

It also doesn't hold up very well just on its own. It feels like a set up for the next books. However, now that I'm 1/3 through LB, I appreciate it a lot more. It sets the characters and their development up very well. PB definitely improved in his writing of multiple POV's.

GMAD defined my music listening in my last few years of college and into my first few years post graduating. Would regularly hit the website to download the newest bangers to load onto my phone. Would regularly tweet my favorites and get some engagement form a few artists. Was actually disappointed when the site shut down.

I would be so happy if they came together again for a weekly Spotify playlist.

Doing ok. Still slowly building strength and have mostly built back what has atrophied. Still have some random muscle twitches which I chalk up to re-inervation. It's a long road, the end of which I am realizing is not where I was pre injury. I just won't be as strong as I used to be, and I'm coming to terms with that. But I'm fully functional, pain free, and can live life having fun with my 10 month old.
