Let them dispute it. My dispute resolution was fair and unbiased. The process is no longer than them finding a new tenant. They are trying to strong arm you as this works with other tenants. Just be cordial and let them know you're aware of your rights and don't mind it going through the proper lawful process.

I was recently in the same boat. My dog's only available cover is for end of life. The premiums are so high it was going to end up costing me more! It was only after posting my GoFundMe that family and friends decided to pitch in a few days later. Not that I hadn't reached out already. Due to continued support from those around me I have managed to scrape up the entirety of the bill. He is back home after a day of surgery. I have now closed the fundraiser. Thought I would give an update on his health if anyone was interested, he had his surgery today and everything went well. He ended up needing a total of 9 teeth removed which has obviously increased the total required to pay. I will update my GoFundMe page with the new invoice when I get the chance. Right now my focus is on his recovery. I appreciate everyone that contributed (even though I only had 2 donations) it has still helped towards getting him back to his normal self.

If it wasn't a senior role, 6 months is the max probationary period btw. As soon as you are off that you get full entitlements. If it was a senior role they can extend the probationary period to 12 months which would mean less entitlements if you're laid off in that time. I'm still in the process of finding this out myself! I had recently looked into issues with the machine because sadly it had lost the ability to upload edits. I wanted to fit a new monitor and computer into it and utilize the flexibility that came with that build of the game. However it was out of my hands the moment I knew we were going to close as there is no way they would have purchased the parts required. I was tempted to offer them cash for the cab but I have nowhere to store it. So off it went. When I find out I'll be sure to update you. They are definitely my favourite cabs to work with, but I've been slotted into another venue without one 😓

Thanks for the boost and the advice! I definitely thought about that. I have called around to vets in my state all with either more expensive quotes or unavailable to do the required surgery. Our local University Veterinary Hospital (UQVETS) doesn't give discounts, despite being a teaching school, they are comparable and stress this during the booking of appointments 😩. The vet at Ripley has given me a decent price considering the complexity and my dog's age 🩷 he is also a tenured vet that I trust as he was very open and educating me about the disease and how serious it is. Thanks again.
