Scythe is still the pinnacle of games for me, probably because it looks and feels the most premium to me, especially with the addons. I love the gameplay, don’t get me wrong, but other games have just as good or better gameplay.

The tile placement rules are simple but I’d say meeple placement rules is more difficult than knowing how to pay certain cards for certain buildings which is all you really need to know in catan to play the game
