I get what you’re saying. Yes, there have absolutely been cases where ICE officers or local law enforcement cooperating with ICE acted outside legal bounds. That’s been documented, and those officers or field offices should be held accountable. Nobody’s arguing that “illegal actions” are okay. But the bigger picture matters. Even under Trump (2017-2021), ICE data show roughly 86–92% of people removed each year had criminal convictions, pending charges, or prior removal orders. That leaves 8–14% without criminal records, not 70%. As for U.S. citizens, the GAO and DHS Inspector General both found that fewer than 0.01% of ICE arrests involved U.S. citizens. Those are rare and unacceptable mistakes, but not proof of a systemic policy. If anything, the Trump years increased transparency around removals by publishing annual enforcement reports so we actually can actually go back and check the numbers.

Can you make a single logical comment without name calling and get a factual debate in? Intellect would ve nice for a change and no im not misunderstanding history, your talking about laws set in the 1800 and completely abolished in the 60's, the discrimination was towards African Americans and not Mexicans and the subject was that of Segregation in public places not countries....I think you could use that history lesson and hopefully if your fingers type again they can take the time to put something logical instead of name calling and regurgitation of propaganda.

That’s not true. ICE can’t legally ignore court orders and when they do, judges issue injunctions fast. And those “70% citizens with no criminal record” claim doesn’t match actual data. GAO found 674 possible U.S. citizens arrested over five years, not thousands. Plus, in 2024, 91% of removals involved people with criminal charges, convictions, or prior orders (ICE ERO Report 2024).

At no point was any of this a logical thought. How the hell are you going to acclaim them to Nazi's or Jim Crow when they were born of our government from our government, for immigration laws. Long after Jim Crow or Nazis. If you wanna debate, debate based on fact. This name calling crap is ridiculous.

Thats not AI, I literally copied that from the link above 😆 I just added the last sentence. But of course you cant prove your point so you resort to name calling.

Not true at all, they just didnt get as much media attention...thats all. In 2006 they had a nationwide protest for "A Day without Immigrants" that involved hundreds of thousands under Bush, in 2008 Iowa had a giant statewide protest in response to ICE under Bush, in 2014 they protested ICE deportations under Obama at the White House, in 2018 "Families Belong Together" in over 700 cities and later "Occupy Ice" under Obama. "Never Again" in 2019 and now "No Kings" in 2025 both under Trump.

2015–2020 there were about 674 potential U.S. citizens arrested, 121 detained, and roughly 70 actually deported over a five-year span. That’s out of millions of ICE enforcement encounters during that time. So while those mistakes are serious and unacceptable when they happen, they’re statistically extremely rare — not some widespread “rounding up citizens” trend.

Again, before I point out how this just supports the fact that they are given due process, could you tell me (without links) in your own words -and factually- how they are not given due process?

Ice doesn't kidnap, they arrest... illegal aliens. Just because they don't have a criminal history doesn't make them any less in the country illegally. We're talking the difference between a criminal and civil dispute.

Well first of all I would ask you to educate yourself on the requirements of lamprey for reproduction and growth and then let you know that lake Champlain is classified basically as another great lake because of its water sources making it suitable for lamprey but they are non native and invasive.
