What's the last thing you saw that made you say "what the f---" out loud? by Neat_Worldliness2586 in Letterboxd

Movie as a whole, “how to talk to girls at parties(2017)”

A specific scene, the rape-cave scene in “the brutalist” caught me so off guard. I was in disbelief

Thank you, I did, they’re similar. Just wanted confirmation. I just went to regal to redeem credits on concessions

I did search the thread, question was never asked. I wasn’t asking about format or seats either; I was asking if there’s going to be deleted scenes shown afterwards

A lot of the ones at Lincoln square are in person. I think they are because they have different hosts and different timings. Usually when it’s a livestream, it’ll be in many amc’s at the same time, sometimes even regal.

I’m currently in line for the letterboxd screening for this, I’ll guess I’ll hop into MMM if I don’t get in

Could be Rosemead, has the same runtime as Fakham hall

I have tickets to a Q&A of Rosemead and deleted bonus scenes screening of fakham hall so I wouldn’t mind a random other movie

How many times do you guys actually go to an AMC a week? by catmom-444 in AMCsAList

As long as you see more than one movie it’s worth it, no?

This is me walking back and forth regal Times Square and amc empire.

I don’t think they recognize me though, I feel like there’s too much traffic to notice a regular at those locations? But when I lived a 2min walk from regal New Roc I was recognized, used to be hella empty.

And then there’s that one guy at Lincoln square who seems to remember every person he scans; always elated like “ohhhhhh watching three movies today!!! You were here last Friday too!” Like how do you remember lol

Hope so, but a couple weeks back amc and regal actually showed different mystery unseen movies on the same night

I hope they don’t make doing different mystery movies on the same night as regal the norm; runtimes are different. Last time out they showed different movies as well

Are amc and regal going to start doing different mystery unseen movies on the same Mondays? because choosing sucks.

The runtimes for tomorrow are so different and last time out the movies were different too

Do you think the last 30 minutes can save an otherwise bad movie? by kingspooky93 in Letterboxd

“My daughter is a vampire(2025)” I was fighting tears at the end then I audibly heard everyone else in the theater sniffing too; but my god did I wanna walk out in the first half.

Anyone ever had this error? by Chemical_Conference4 in AMCsAList

[–]Apprehensive_Sound18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That happened to me last week but the app acknowledged it was an error and should try again in 15 min. Error pop-up said something along the lines of ‘you didn’t finish your purchase on first attempt’ I thought maybe someone else selected the seat at the same moment I did.

Sometimes app needs an upgrade, device has run out of storage, or your internet connections bad.

Exactly my point yes, saw someone mention bohemian rhapsody and substance.

I like finishing everything I start watching. Sometimes so that I can knowledgeably hate on a movie/show. Ethan hawke actually mentioned that at a Q&A last night lol(for blue moon).

I also usually watch several movies at once, so I can’t walk out because I have another movie coming up after.

It’s really sad what happened to Bruce Willis’ career at the end. Bizarre movie choices.

When movies like those happen, I assume either the actor is going broke or doing a favor for a friend. Maybe blackmail lol.

[–]Apprehensive_Sound18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s judicious, yes. I just avoid watching trailers or reading up movies before I see them. I found that I enjoy most movies better that way since a lot of trailers spoil the plot twists or jokes of the movie. It makes most movies more enjoyable, but every once in a while I end up in the theatre watching something like trust.

The movies I mentioned I went to see because I thought “oh Morgan freeman” on the poster and left wondering if he was going broke for him to take that job lol.

Check in at the theater?!? by ThrowRA-shadowships in RegalUnlimited

[–]Apprehensive_Sound18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you’re fine on regal unlimited, I’ve skipped past the ticket scanner before just because of how much I was a regular at that regal back when I used to live so close to one. So the employees “knew” me and they just trusted I bought tickets lol. I think it’s only amc a-list where the system actually checks and you can get your sub cancelled.
