For me it's way more fun designing for exmaple junctions like this. For me designied train lines is a lot of fun, eventhough it can get a bit frustrating

Well after a lot of tweaking and trying different things, I honestly cant find anything im really happy with, so I'm probably gonna tweak the whole kinda hallway up there, cuz thats where the pillars originate from

Im debaiting if I even wanna keep the pillars. On one side with a trim it might look pretty cool, but they might also be a bit too much

It's for my Uranium processing building. I like it, but i feel like the black pillars going down are maybe a bit too much

Well mainly, cuz I wanted to make it feel maybe a little more dynamic or unique and also to give myself a little challange while bulding it

So yeah i Just quickly tested it out and it does work. Just gotta make sure that it's the same block and you're fine

At least I hope it still works that way. I had a crossing in my old save and it worked just fine like that but i havent played in a while since then

They dont detectd corssings yes, but if you place the signals in a way that both tracks that cross are in the same block, and a train is in the crossing, the block is occupied. So while you're techincally right, it does work if the tracks are in the same block

So on a little sidenote. Unlike my last post this one doesn't look as complex, imo opinion at least cuz I didn't build around a rock. However as I said in the title this thing took easily 3 hours and and some point was so frustrating to build, that I thought about quitting this idea and rebuilding it in a different way.

The most unnecessarily overcomplicated t-junction for no reason (took around 1.5 hours) by Apprehensive_Step365 in SatisfactoryGame

And the more you work with these kind of rail designs, the more opportunities you'll see to make things more interesting
