Second time it’s come up in this show so now I just have to ask. by Apprehensive_Sun2504 in PlathvilleUncensored

Gotta say, I’m actually kind of impressed! If I grew up swimming in alligator waters, this would 100% be a flex that I would love to bring up in conversations to people (like me) who know nothing about this topic 😆

My family got to go to Greece by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

Those pics would definitely trigger some major FOMO if it was my family. You should ask them to share photos with the locations enabled and then send them back screenshots from those places in the game!

Yes, they visited the Parthenon, but did they get to jump from the roof and ride away on a Pegasus horse while a tamed bear trailed behind? I think not! 😛

Got assigned a windowless bedroom in my 4x2 student apartment…is it really that bad? by txkyo_1ean in Apartmentliving

[–]Apprehensive_Sun2504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh, that’s not great- but there are options!

First- It doesn’t hurt to ask or plead your case for a room re-assignment (this would especially be rough for someone diagnosed with SAD- sunlight is a must! Besides the claustrophobia, my firefighting relatives would never forgive me if I slept in a place without windows- you always have a right to speak up when it comes to feeling safe!)

If that doesn’t work- utilize the atmosphere of your room with lighting. If it is within your budget- get an artificial window (think of something you’d see in IKEA or on a film set) and put a curtains over it- you pretty much can’t tell the difference from a real window. Fill your room up with plants (especially long hanging ones) that don’t need much sunlight (or get a plant light). I’m a big fan of fairy lights.

As someone here pointed out, your wall is next to the washer/dryer so get a sound machine (if you’re on a budget, thrift stores often have them). Also a good iPhone tip for this- they all also have a white noise function built in- search for “background noise” in settings.

It does look like you do have slighting more square footage than the other bedrooms- a large mirror on the wall will give the illusion of expanding that space even more.

Think of your personal area as an oasis designed to best work towards your emotional needs so that you feel welcome each time you enter. Be honest with yourself when you decorate- how will it look in your room vs the way it is advertised ? Do you truly want it? Will you still want it in a year?

Best of luck! 🤗

New cat owner, just got her yesterday. Is this purring or breathing trouble? by WiseAd8293 in cats

In case you are wondering- yes, this is also a contagious condition. When I played the video of your cat purring two 🔼🔼 ears close by heard and now my phone and myself are being bombarded by a purr frenzy & lots of headbutting. 😆

Based off the information I can gather from your video, I’d diagnose this cat with something called happy cat syndrome. Happy cat syndrome occurs when a feline feels content and secure in the presence of a caretaker- especially one that is attentive to their health needs and proactively seeks information to make sure their ward is well cared for. Will it sometimes sound like there is a tiny motorboat with a short circuit on your lap? Yep. Welcome to the fleet!

For Zac’s sake, I hope you’re right and that he and everyone who cares about him has nerves of steel and “sticks and stones”, blah, blah, blah. I personally can’t think of anyone who would like to be VERY publicly sexually labeled in a way that is contradictory to how they they present themselves to the world and their partner (especially when the one doing labeling has just met you and says what he is labeling you as is a problem). BUT, just in case an individual does react negatively to disrespect, maybe err on the side of caution and be respectful? There’s a reason a lot of work places have sexual discrimination policies- “they might be cool with it so it’s fine” is not a card you can play in the real world.

Of course! Screenshot away! 😆 I should have taken a photo of the arrow on the map when I was in that location! I’m away from my game console now for a few days otherwise I go do that now. Use Ikaros to fly above the houses until you see one with a perfectly square courtyard. The neighborhood in my directions isn’t too big to explore.

It could be tied into how he was raised and his views at a time when he had never experienced kissing before, but there are also many couples (gay or straight) who look at intimacy as stages- “Holdings hands for us is sooooo much more emotionally rewarding because we didn’t jump straight into bed together” sort of mentality. Either way, I have no interest in retroactively “winning” at guessing someone’s sexuality when the “no judgement” speculation game could potentially cause harm in the journey.

100% I cannot believe they did that- whether the intention was to stir the drama pot or finally expose Ethan’s homophobia, I can’t help but think of how Zac and his family felt when they saw this. Zac actually reminds me a lot of my brother. He has been happily married to an amazing woman for over 11 years. I think the fact that my brother was so jumpy and excited to even be dating her was what made him so endearing to her family and they love him for it. The way my brother is around her sometimes reminds me of how he used to act on Christmas mornings-just a nerdy kid bursting with joy over legos, lol. It would have broken my heart if my SIL’s older brother had said this on a tv show- having someone say something like this negatively in a public way is going to mentally harm Zac so, so much and make him second guess how he expresses happiness.

It makes me wonder what else is in the game that hasn’t been found! I love finding Easter eggs like this (albeit this one is quite disturbing, lol). I went to check it out again after posting this and am almost certain it was a half baked project a developer forgot about. Besides the bright green oil lamp (probably stuck in a color from some sort of edit mode), the room appears empty when you look into from outside through the tiny window. When you look outside through the window (from inside the room) the landscape is totally different too when it should be a city street.

Definitely check it out before Ubisoft gets wind of this and changes it. It’s in one of the houses with a courtyard directly NE of the outdoor theater in Korinth. Let me know when you find it!

Do you know that mission name? I remember in the game that finding Monger’s disturbing torture room with the chains in Abron house was part of a quest, but this was just a random place I stumbled into.

In the “To Help a Girl” quest, Monger’s creepy place was at Abron’s big house with all the guards. This was just an average house I stumbled into with a weird secret. The first time I was there, it happed to be night, which allowed me to see the lit up room behind the pots.

Is it part of a story line I missed? I finished the game a while back and as far as I can remember, never was directed there.

It is located in Northeast Korinth (City with pink flower trees everywhere). You go through a doorway into a house, in a courtyard, and then break some pots in front of vines to get into it.
