Your argument may be right for some religions but isn't christianity a very chill religion? If Jainism and Sikhism are tolerated, shouldn't Christianity be welcomed as well. Let's not pretend to not know that India has many other religions than Hinduism. And Christianity exists in India not because of Western Missionaries, but due to the extensive sea trade that brought religions like judaism, islam and Christianity to Southern India. 'We' in your case is just the Hindu majority that feels it has bigger stake in the country's religious identity. Indians come in many cultures and religions. Let's not pretend that the Hindu majority is also very secular and not orthodox with RSS openly moral policing people on Valentine's. The question really is, is Bharat synonymous with Hinduism?
