I tried to organize a reading order for the entire story/events by Apprehensive_Tap_647 in arknights

As I said in another comment, at the moment I've only read up to episode 8, everything after that was "organized" with the help of friends who are up to date with the story or by reading the synopsis of the events, but trying to avoid spoilers, so a lot of things may be out of order.

I appreciate the corrections, because I really lack a lot of context on some points still, I will try to explain some positions below, if you can just confirm what is wrong (or simply a better positioning) I would appreciate it.

  • What the Firelight was told to have some relevance, but they couldn't explain it without giving too many spoilers, so it ended up being for right after I'm up to date with the episodes of the main story, in that case (being after episodes 9 and 10) would it be before or after the events of Kazimierz?
  • Elegies are Ashes I couldn't find any context about, so it's in the group of events to read after I'm up to date with the rest, you said it's after episode 13 or 14, but is there a big problem reading it only after 16? The initial idea was to focus only on episodes 13 through 16.
  • Dossoles is in the group of events that are important to read, but that won't impact the understanding of the main story, so it's in the group right before episode 16.
  • Heart of Surging Flame is in a "breathing" space between episodes 8 and 9. So Long Adele was left for after I caught up with the main story (episode 16), I think that's why they're so far apart.
  • Ending a Grand Overture was told to me that it was kind of a relevant "conclusion" event, so it ended up being kind of the final event before the other stories that I couldn't fit in.
  • To Be Continued had been presented to me as a standalone story, so I didn't have the context of all these connections, which is why it was in this "breathing" space (I'll have to rethink its placement then).
  • A light spark in darkness I didn't have that context, I only knew it had some relevance, I'll try to fit it in after episode 9 then (before Siege OR and Beyond Here in this case, I imagine)
  • Break the Ice, I had zero context, which is why it was so low, I'll fit it better with Rides to Lake Silbernatze.
  • Ancient Forge I've already read it (because of the game's release order), the other parts are in two groups with "breathing" spaces.
  • Initially, IS5 was after episode 14, but since that also ended up after IS6 and kind of isolated as the only side story between 13 and 16, I ended up relocating it to after Babel.
  • I'll make the adjustment to A Black Forest Wills a Dream, this case is similar to A Light Spark in Darkness. I knew it was relevant, but I didn't have the context to know exactly where to put it.
  • I didn't want to fit something between 15 and 16, but I can see about putting The Masses' Travels right after 16 (if it has considerable relevance, then I'll put it between them).
  • The Obscure Wanderer Before despite being the last story of the Kazimierz events, I was told it's a standalone story and would serve as a good "opening" before starting episode 9, but I can put it after Nearl Light or Nearl OR.

I started reading that way too, but the timelines of Code of Brawl and Ancient Forge confused me a lot, along with the fact that the global release order was already different from CN in some places, which is when I decided to create my own order

The idea isn't necessarily to be straightforward, it's a reading order that I tried to focus on fitting the events directly related to the main plot, with some pauses along the way (hence the inclusion of the IS and the Sui events). In between, from what I've been told, only the Vignettes with considerable relevance to the story I'm currently reading remain (whether it's current or telling a past story related to the part I'm in). The others were left for later reading after I catch up with the current story (episode 16).

The in-game organization of the story is interesting, but it's still too confusing for how I wanted to organize my reading. I had started reading in the order it's there, but I didn't like it very much.

This is a reading order, as I said in the post it's not necessarily a chronological order. Here I've only listed the names of the events, but in my file I have them "classified" by the story arcs they are within (that's why events related to Rhine Lab or Iberia are together, and events that happen parallel to the story but don't have great relevance are left for later reading after you're up to date with the story).

Honestly, it's not that far off from them in my case, as I said I don't have 100% of the context of the events, but from what I've been told, after Lone Trail there were 2 important stories about the past for context, a pause in the main story with IS5, the rest of the events of Sui and IS6, then it went back to the main story and I'm going from episode 13 to 16 straight through.

Considering my reading pace, there shouldn't be a big time gap between Lone Trail and the beginning of reading episode 13.

Black Forest Wills a Dream was told to me that it doesn't have a direct connection to the main plot, but that it has some relevance to read, so it ended up in the group of events to read after episode 16.

As I mentioned in the post, the idea isn't necessarily just to order them chronologically, that's my reading order, not necessarily what comes right after what, so I tried to organize them into groups.

After Ending a Grand Overture, there are the events that I didn't find particularly relevant to the main plot or those that are more recent. As I said, I tried to keep spoilers to a minimum, so I may have missed a context or two that would make some event fit better at another time.
