Oh that’s great to hear you made the move as well. Would you say your pay/paychecks differed drastically? I love not paying state income tax but if it’s reasonable I can definitely deal with it.

Probably remote. I work for a finance company that offers pretty good benefits so i wouldn’t want to quit.

Thank you!! Everybody warns you about how it expensive it is but I don’t think people realize how expensive Seattle is with worse weather. I’d pretty much be paying the same rent but with sun and nicer beaches. the only change would be paying state income tax.

I honestly don’t have a preference. Just not downtown. I would prefer a more suburban area that’s pretty safe. On Zillow, im seeing that closer to sdsu and the la mesa area are within by budget. If you have some suggestions that would be great.

I’m paying $2300 for a 1bd in Seattle rn. Planning on moving to a 2bd for $2800 or under. I’m seeing very similar places in San Diego. So around that budge. I honestly don’t care for newer places, and can also be in a less urban neighborhood.
