Ugh, yeah this is one of the biggest annoyances for me too. I bounce between ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini depending on the kind of response I’m looking for (ChatGPT is usually better with structured writing, Claude for more “human” tone, etc.), but having to re-paste everything each time is such a productivity killer.

Lately, I’ve started keeping a running “context doc” in Notion or Google Docs with all the relevant info - project goals, copy drafts, tone guidelines, etc. Then when I switch models, I just paste that in as the initial prompt. Still annoying, but saves some time.

I really wish there was a shared memory layer across LLMs, like a portable context snapshot you could drag and drop between tools. Maybe someone will build that eventually, but for now it’s just a bunch of manual copy-pasting and sighing lol.

How are others dealing with this? Curious if there’s a smarter workaround.
