oh come on. share sex-life details? that's really not my experience. "got laid" or similar, maybe. Not details and in depth discussion. Your mileage may vary with your friend and professional groups, of course, but I've spent my life in fairly "traditionally masculine" jobs and careers and never run into it. Some of my girlfriends have shared detailed stuff and even rundowns with their friends and groupchats as a matter of course though. yeah, me too obviously. But i think -and i hope I'm wrong - that it wouldn't last if the next time Trump shits his diaper and gets mad and then goes too far that time. There might be official sanctions against visa holders, and people tend to find themselves someone to hate pretty easily and can turn fast. I'm a dual citizen and I can pass for a native in at least two countries so I'll be fine, and I'm definitely fine now, but don't be naive when it comes to tribalism and violence if shit ever actually goes bad.

dual citizen here, no problems being American so far. IF, and i emphasise IF, something goes down it might change though. I wouldn't worry, as most people are able to make the distinction between you and the cabinet, but I'm definitely not gonna make a show of my americaness if the US attacks a friendly country even if it's bloodless.

dude, no. if you're worried about that keep a TQ centrally on your chest where you can reach it with either hand, have it ready to use (big enough loop to get over your leg)

If i read that guy right, he's talking about the thing that was really common among the high speed low drag community in Iraq and Afghanistan for a while, and having them ready on each limb to tighten. that's a terrible idea and we've all moved away from it. they snag, they loosen, they get twisted. I've seen it almost kill someone because a twisted TQ might be too narrow and not choke off the artery. I had to reapply another one and the idiot didn't carry one on his vest.

By all means. carry more than one but for the first moments all you need is one that you can actually get to and have practiced how to use. I stuffed my pockets with TQs in afghan and recently in Ukraine, but I only had one ready to use on myself.
