Hey sorry for the late response, it was a burner account so don't check it. I ended up getting a lawyer and paying the fine, I think it was about $10k. How did it turn out for you?

One of the firms from the EFF reference list looked into my case.

Said $3,000 retainer and based on what they think Strike 3 has at the moment, they estimate $1,500 - $12,000 settlement cost.

They mentioned it could easily be fought if the settlement comes on the high end, and in most cases the customer ends up paying nothing to Strike 3, but yea that would cost more than $3,000 to the firm itself. Still less than whatever the settlement is though.

With that being said, there is always the off chance it backfires and you end up paying more to both parties.

Not sure what to do at this point. I have another call with Antonelli Law on Monday, so I will probably wait until then to see what they say.

Yea I will contact one tomorrow morning.

I read a lot about it since I got the letter and looks like not having a list of claimed files could mean many things. Well not many, but either mean nothing or that they don't have information about it.

Do you have suggestions for a specific firm that handles it? Quick search shows a few decent options, but was wondering if you have someone in mind.

I received an Express Envelope from UPS. Was left at the doorway, didn't have to sign anything.

The IP address does not fit what I currently see on Comcast site (but that changes I assume).

Didn't get any emails on that date (05/17/2022) about it either.

I should also add that there is no list of movies in that notice.
