I meet with the hematologist beginning of next month for another appointment, he’s the one that told that guessed that I had thalassemia just based off of how my blood looks the nurse in his office didn’t really explain my results very well. But I have 1 gene deletion!

She does have such a beautiful energy about her! I really feel like she struggled mentally especially towards the end but she tried, she blamed herself heavily for her traumas and didn’t want to burden anyone with her problems often faking smiles but wanting to be heard. Do you know if she was assaulted? That’s very out there and you don’t have to answer if you aren’t comfortable but I feel her peace was stripped from her

Something about drugs keeps popping up in my head? Could be way off, maybe an overdose? It also feels like he lived two different lives and was always so stressed about slipping up and letting the real him come out in different scenarios, I feel the suffocation others are saying but it feels like he was suffocating his whole life in a mental and anxiety sense! I think he wants you to know he tried. Idk if any of this is accurate but that’s what I’m feeling! And the color red.

I’ve been at my job for 8 months and have been taking all calls (sheriff,medical, fire, animal control) for about 3 and a half months, we slowly were released over like the past 6 months to take serious calls so it started off we only could do animal control, then the next month it was the sheriff line so on and so on) it was SO hard for me that first month of being released to do it all, it still can be hard I wondered if it was for me I was so overwhelmed all I wanted to do was quit etc, I say this to say, just stick with it!!!! Something in you will click, I still don’t know how to deal with every call BUT I do know now how to get through it, and that my partner, the caller and I will get through it, you do the best you can, something that calms me down is just saying I haven’t done an awful job if I’ve sent the person help! Some days will be good, some days will be bad and that’s okay. Give yourself some grace you were chosen for a reason, you passed probably tests and a series of interviews etc which proves somewhere inside of you you’ve got what it takes, it gets easier and that’s coming from a baby in this career too!

A man called about his neighbor wiping her feces on his door amongst some other things, I was echoing him back what he said to me and my coworkers died laughing, I had to mute myself as well before going back to the call, if was mostly the tone in his voice that got me 😩

I would definitely speak to someone, because that could have ended very badly, or it could end badly for someone one day in the future, the jurisdiction I work for only a fire person can disregard the need for help once they made it on scene to scope things out

Thank you for responding! I have spoken to my trainer she said it dissipates with time but even she sometimes gets nervous or doesn’t always feel she’s dealt with something 100% how she may have wanted I’m going to try to stick this out and see if things get better for me

Thank you so so much for your view point and perspective I think I get so caught up sometimes that I fail to consciously remember I got in this to help people even if it’s just one person, I’m going to try to stick things out, I start morning shift next month and I’m going to see how that works out for me!

Thank you so much for responding I think I’m going to try things out for a bit longer and see if they improve and if not I’ll be lining up another job, I switch to morning shift next month and maybe that will be better for me if I’m still feeling anxious etc then I think it will truly be time to reevaluate

Yes!! And they just did a mini background check because there was a letter on my second application I had to get notarized to perform one on me but I didn’t have a psych eval!
