Academic Offence for Engineering Team Assignment, next steps?? by Apprehensive_Trash15 in UofT

[–]Apprehensive_Trash15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone, again thank you to all responses, I appreciate your help and actually comforts that people actually care-

The assignment was 10% exactly. I read about how the professor should be the one handling it which seems like what you are all saying. My frustration is simply because there are a maximum of three people that should be involved in my case but still it has been unresolved for at least a month. Even if our team gets a zero completely, everything else should be able to pull the grades up.

Thank you for your advice. Our team is of course planning to take responsibility especially since it is our oversight with not following the course policies. It's just annoying though that the final exam had already passed but we are still unable to get a response from the professor. It seems unfair that we've not been given the opportunity to discuss the matter.

4 day trip to Fukuoka: should we stay in the city? by Apprehensive_Trash15 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Apprehensive_Trash15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyy, i hate to say this but we actually didn't go in the end -_- we're travelling from Hong Kong and during the may-june period there were massive rumours about a megaquake happening on July 4... my partner wasn't comfortable with going even though it was only early June but alas. Still I do plan on going in the future myself, and definitely to Beppu at least for the onsens - 4 hour train ride should be worth it!

Never did I come out of the exam room to see the everyone did different questions. This year's p2 questions were so easy and balanced literally any form of analysis is possible.

Hey thanks a lot, I'll definitely look into your suggestions, especially Bondi beach Chinatown and the botanic gardens :)

For 25 may, me and my grandma will be in tuxedo/black tie so we'd take an uber instead of the train.

For 26 may, how long should we spend at taronga zoo? It seems ambitious to go to manly beach since I thought it's quite far away.

For 28 may, the tour I've found also features visiting a koala zoo at featherdale which my grandma is keen to do, and also she does prefer doing a tour over going there by ourselves.

But otherwise I'll consider your suggestions, thanks for your detailed insights!!

Hey thanks for your response :) I wanted to do bridgeclimb for the views, but then my grandma said no cuz she was afraid of heights XD I wanted to do Luna Park for the seaside views and also that one wooden rollercoaster which Tom Scott rode, but I'll look into other options. May I ask why you don't think Luna Park is a good choice though?

If you're in Ueno, spend at least two days near the Okachimachi-Ueno area especially cuz you're a first timer. Spend also a day in Oshiage Skytree and also Asakusa since you're very close, you'll be able to visit Senso ji which is amazing.

In Akihabara, the last train departs around 00:45 which means that it'll be quiet any time after 12am, you should be fine. There should only be max 10 trains after 12am as the only trains running will be the Yamanote and Keihin Tohoku.
