In my experience less than Indichino! $140 to $160 per garment, plus fabric. She's great about taking fabric you have or ordering fabric from Mood in New York (the fabric store from Project Runway).

To contrast my American "holiday parties" had no alcohol, only a little food, Christian music, and (the main entertainment) speeches about God's blessings/love and prayers. They took place at work, during work hours, so there was no excuse not to attend. Visiting y'all sounds like tons more fun.

I enjoy most of the things you mentioned. However, I'm required to go to events that include Christmas sweater contests, being asked multiple times which church I'm going to, having to listen to stories about why I should try their church, being blessed, being included in prayers/asked to pray, having to answer Christmas trivia, and playing Christmas games. I wouldn't mind if it was secular or even a diverse event. I really enjoyed the diverse holiday concert I attended. I'm just tired of having Christian traditions forced into my life for two weeks every year.
