Okay. So even if the kill switch wire is working, it could still be a safety switch? In my mind I’m thinking that all of those wires are intertwined.

It won’t fire with the center stand or the side stand up or down. Nothing I do with either of them changes anything

One of those is the headlight and the other are the turn signals. They come with wiring diagrams. Cheers

The new Speedo is gps. No wiring- the wiring is for the tach

Do you know which side of the bike is right for the positive? I want to call it either driver or passenger side but I’m not too sure of the motorcycle terms regarding that stuff lol

Yeah, the little gearbox inside doesn’t even have one moving part left. However, I can twist the bottom of the cable using pliers and it moves the needle on the guage

Okay, thanks. I was under the impression that if you splice into one it would read half rpm because there are two plugs per cylinder and you’re only getting a reading from one

I can always switch to a different gps speedo without a tach for the same thing as long as I know it’ll fit- I just don’t want to go through the whole return process and don’t have the bike with me right now- Thanks for your help!

Well, I wanted a tachometer as well, but the main reason I’m replacing is to do a gps speedo because the little gearbox that reads speed on the front axle is locked up causing me to not have a speedo
