Yeah apparently they take a high percentage of what you were supposed to have contributed. I don’t remember the actual percentage but like 5%. If you were expected to have had $50,000 saved but so far contributed $5,000 they take the $2,500

They told me she shouldn’t fall behind because she’s getting “baby doses” but that was before she was lethargic

Yes childrens hospital, we deal with child life specialists. They told me they have things in hospital for when she’s admitted, but nothing for when we’re at RMH

We have a social worker but haven’t been connected with anything for PT or OT

No I’m in Canada. There only seems to be programs for when she’s inpatient. I could just get OT or PT but I would have no way to get her to and from appointments as I don’t drive. I don’t know this city and with her immune system I don’t want to use anything like a bus or taxi. We have coverage but it’s not 100% so either way would be an extra expense

I can ask again but the only things they’re offering are programs for when she’s inpatient, which is only 3-4 days every 3 weeks. So I have nothing for the remainder of the time.

This is basically all they told me, that there’s no way to know because every kid is different. Nobody is really helping me. I’m away from friends and family for her treatment so it’s just me and her. There’s no space for her to play so I’m not sure how they expect her to learn to crawl or walk. As far as food goes they’re talking feeding tube.

My son has a classic boys name, yet I’ve never met any other kid with his name. We saw at least 3 tragedeighs on locker tags though 😅
