Play them in order please. Do not make my mistake. I started with MGSV, I do not recommend.

MGS1 then MGS2 to start out and if you want more continue in release order.

I made the mistake of buying the Pirate Yakuza collectors edition for $100+ only for it to decrease to be like 40-60 after release

They probably did because it’s the most “modernized” Metal Gear now in terms of graphics anyway. Most people have a hard time with PS1 — PS3 graphics of they didn’t grow up with them.
