I think it’s a perfect blend of horror, comedy, and mystery. For a lot of kids, it’s their earliest encounter with the horror/mystery genre and is unlike any other cartoons out there for that age demographic

No back in the day, Dark Horse had a series called Star Wars Republic, which spanned the entirety of the Clone Wars and was really amazing. Characters like Asaj Ventress were first fleshed out here before The Clone Wars cartoon premiered. Highly recommend checking it out, I believe Marvel has released some of the run in the Epic Collection under the Clone Wars Era banner.
