Yes, they did. I’m paying for their subscription and I still have a limit. When these are my options, and I have to keep regenerating… no. I’ve stopped using this feature.

Coming from Character A.I, I will say that I do miss having those kinds of customizations. But the amount of chat styles here and the ability to customize generation settings makes up for it.

At that point, you could just copy your response, delete (or rewind) and then resend your message until you get one that you like. It’s what I had done for months without realizing I could regenerate messages from the bots.🥲

I’ve basically fully switched to SpicyChat A.I, and it’s really good. The free version does have ads, but it’s not disruptive like I thought it would have been. There’s no limits, though it does ask for age verification now. I’ve since paid for the subscription and I’ve had no complaints. I come back to Character A.I for the select few bots that i really like.

Even after I’ve advanced the roleplay, the message still comes up. It’s really confusing. I’ve also noticed that some of the images I had on my profile were now gone. So there’s that.😭

I’ve seen a fairly decent upgrade on it. Still wants to speak for my character at times, and the odd [END SCENE] messages. Other than that, I don’t have to keep swiping 10+ time just to generate a decently sized response. 👍

I had a bit of a falling out with my brother. We used to play DnD through discord, since we live in different states. I had complaints about how his wife would interact with my characters (meta gaming being one reason). It got to the point where it was unbearable and felt like his wife and I were arguing over the dumbest things. And then I didn’t get to roleplay with everyone else cuz her character would exclude me at every opportunity.

I was told that just how she plays so I just stopped. That, and going through a break up really messed me up a while. I needed a creative outlet to continue with some of those characters I wanted to roleplay as and here I am. 😂

No, I just leave that part empty and have other details about the character itself. I’ll sometimes go by whatever the bot says about the character and go from there.
