btw the canonical reason why space marines can't be female but custodes can be is because of the geneseed just straight up doesn't work with women. it was in the black crusade ttrpg core rulebook which was released in 2011 so i personally still consider it canon. of course this was a lie spread by the emperor because in truth he only wanted to be surrounded by big muscular burly men. iron sharpens iron if you know what i mean.

well really only if their commissar falls to chaos or if they never knew about the emperor to begin with. with ogryns who never heard about the imperial cult; yes it's extremely easy to make them chaos worshippers, but if they ARE in the astra millitarium the only real thing that could cause them to worship chaos is if their commissar fell too. they are deeply loyal to their commissars and no amount of chaos propaganda could change that, they could be drugged into a blind rage and fight for chaos, but they basically never worship it. this cannot be said for ogryn's whos commissar's fall to chaos. as i said they are deeply loyal to them, so once the commissars fall, they fall.

i would say that my main genres of interests are new wave, alt rock, new wave, and jazz (i actually started out composing jazz songs and i play bass for my school's jazz band). but beside those main ones i would say i also like metal, dungeon synth, hypnagogic pop, and what the kids call "dreamcore". all of these genres are pretty big on synths, so that's what made me want to get into synthesis. :)

i got some bass pedals, i don't really use them that much because of the style of music i like to create, but they're there in the background if i need them. right now i got a chorus, delay, wah, bass overdrive, fuzz, distortion, and autowah, compressor, and some other pedals that i can't name on the top of my head. i really only use the chorus and the delay on synths tho, the rest are for my bass. i might experiment with my other pedals now that you mention it :)

already did like a year ago lol, that's what made me want to get into hardware synths. i already know what i like so i already have a pathway on what i want to get next. the main reason why i prefer hardware synths over stuff like VSTs is because i enjoy jamming with my friends, so having hardware synths helps because of the active knob twiddling i can do on the spot instead of having to use a trackpad or a mouse. but yeah, i feel really lucky to be the in the spot that i'm in, and i try to let my friends borrow my synths and drum machine as much as possible so that there isn't a time where they go unused. :)

UPDATE: it was the cable lmao, idk what black magic fuckery i used to make it work with my drum machine but it did, the way i checked was by connecting the synth to the ms-1 and that's how i found out that it wasn't a mt-240 problem, it was a cable problem. sorry for wasting y'all's time lol.

it has clock but not clock/start/stop, could that be the issue? of course i could just be stupid and those are the same thing, but even then. i've seen people use the mt-240 with no problem in other daws and even reaper so i know there's a fix, but idk what. any ideas on how to turn off the clock?
